1. Who we are
Floxovo ("we", "us") provides study tools at floxovo.com. For privacy questions, contact support@floxovo.com.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your email address, if you create an account, and how you signed in (email or Google).
- Study content: the text you paste or the text we extract from files you upload, plus the flashcards, quiz questions, and notes created from it. We don't keep the original files.
- Progress: your quiz scores and flashcard review history.
- Tutor questions: the messages you send to the AI tutor, which are used to answer you.
- Technical data: basic information needed to run the service, such as browser type and error logs. We don't use it to identify you.
- Local storage: your theme choice and guest study sets are stored in your browser.
3. How we use it
We use your information to run Floxovo: create and sync your study sets, track progress, answer tutor questions, keep the service secure, and respond to support requests. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your study content for advertising.
4. Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Floxovo, including Supabase (accounts and database), Vercel (hosting), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), and OpenRouter, which connects to AI models to answer tutor questions. These providers only receive what they need to do their job. Tutor messages may be processed by the AI model provider you are connected to. Please avoid sharing personal details in tutor questions.
5. Retention and deletion
Your study sets and progress are kept until you delete them. You can delete sets and reset progress in the app. To delete your account and its data, contact us; we'll complete the request within 30 days.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to some uses. To exercise these rights, email support@floxovo.com. We'll verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Security
Each user's data is protected by database security rules so that only the signed-in owner can read or change it. Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children's privacy
Floxovo is designed to be used by students of all ages, with a parent or guardian involved for younger children. We take extra care with children's information:
- Accounts must be created by a person 13 or older, or by a parent or guardian for a child.
- We don't ask children for their full name, address, school, photos, or other contact details.
- We don't show children advertising, and we don't build profiles of children for marketing.
- Parents and guardians can review, export, or delete a child's information by contacting us.
- Where required by law (for example, under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA, or Morocco's Law 09-08), we obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from a child under the applicable age.
9. International users
Our service providers may store or process information outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll post changes on this page and update the date above. For important changes, we'll notify account holders by email.
